I love it. The other review hated it, because it was full of cuss words. That is kind of the point.I look forward to using it.I got it to take to my dad's cancer treatments. He has stage 4 stomach cancer and I sit with him, at the chemo treatments. This is exactly what I need. Because I can't tell well meaning to people who send me prayers, what I really want to say.But I can color a bunch of F***s and C***s

Love love love it.... the cover alone sets it apart from the rest. Just a higher quality coloring book. And the vulgarity.. well that's the point! The hard part is deciding what page to color first! I will be specifically looking to purchase more coloring books from this brand.

I bought this for myself and then bought multiple copies to give as gifts to friends and coworkers and EVERYONE I gave it to loved it!! I found people going around the office showing off the book to others while laughing hysterically. Sure, some of the "words" or "sayings" are a little immature or juvenile, but they're funny! And it's a great stress relief. We can't all walk around saying what we think or calling others names, but it feels good to delightfully color in a beautifully drawn mandala or doodle with those types of words prominently displayed. If no one gets hurt, what's the big deal? I definitely recommend this to anyone with a sense of humor.

This definitely helps with my anxiety as well as my anger, as coloring is very calming, yet I can take out my anger by coloring a design that has a curse word or insult in it. I’ve also noticed that it contains some British slang terms and insults as well, which makes it more fun! I also love that the pages are NOT double sided, so once you finish coloring you could even cut out the page and frame it to hang in your house!

After buying a book which used quality paper, the low quality of paper used by this maker's books simply couldn't be ignored. It changes the tone of the color, amount of bleeding, end result is usually...blech...compared to others, etc.Yet, I still like this series & have used my small allowance to buy some. But I've become a quality snob. LOLSo I scan these pages (after I use a blade to cut them out - none of these books are perforated) & print them out on quality art paper I bought seperately.PITA, but I had already bought the book, so... The results are 100% better than using the original pages.I will be paying more attention to the descriptions, reviews, & questions on any future books I purchase. It may be "fun" to color pages with curse words in the phrase, but if the paper is just a level above newspaper, it's a waste of ink & time.

This one went straight into the trash. I've had several adult sweary type coloring books in the past, but this one literally went right into the trash can after I received it and flipped through. Poor printing on several pages and a lot of the words honestly weren't funny/felt like a stretch to be crass just for the sake of it. Definitely check photos before putting this one in your cart to make sure it's actually what you want to gift or keep.

I'm glad I, finally, ordered this!It's a proper, soft cover, book (not one of those 4 page magazines they 'call' a book).Oodles of intricate pictures to color, but nothing that requires any technique. I had forgotten how Zen it was, to just color; no thought- just fill in the spaces... excuse me, I am off to color; in my blanket fort.

I ordered 5 different adult coloring books for myself an gifts....this one is by far the best! Not for every adult, but if u like to color an have a good sense of humor this is for you! Good quality, nice print, lots of pages, funny words, and the entire book is full of cool pictures to color, not like a lot of coloring books u look through an only like a few pictures in it. Awesome an can't wait to give it to my cousin for her birthday, she is going to die laughing an love it!

I needed the Credit Repair Book by Robin Leonard.Reading this helped me avoid using credit repair companies that don't care about my credit as much as I do. Only I know how serious this is to me so only I could get done without disappointment. That is guaranteed by my own self not and not by a credit repair company. These organizations promise software and letter writing templates used for everyone's situation. I wanted to get the know-how for My state of affairs. One size doesn't fit all when it comes to repairing your credit. I was also very happy to receive an actual hard copy of information available to me to do just that. This book helped me learn how to negotiate with creditors and how to use the best strategy that pertained to my case. Also this book gave me good tips on how I could personally improve my credit report. Don't get screwed by Credit Bureaus, Credit Repair companies AND Creditors. It's not bad. If you have never taken a formal Credit and Collections course in college, or do not have an understanding of Budgeting and Finance, this book establishes the idea, that it is important to develop your personal forms and documentation that every responsible person must have in order to be considered financially responsible as an adult. Why? Because most institutions are judging you by how you make agreements and how you keep your word through the vehicle of "money." If you don't pay your bills, you aren't keeping "your word, and so that leads to trust issues with folks who are organized and trying to make money by offering goods and services. And so, if you don't grow-up and get that through your previously thick head, you're going to be considered a Loser in life and nobody's going to trust you and let you have a decent life. Robin Leonard's book teaches you how to educate yourself about the baseline issues and then provides you with the supporting methods and basic forms to get on track so you can project that you understand the rules in life and are dependable so you can have a nice place to live, a good job, and the funds you need to empower you and create some quality of life. - Yes, I do recommend this book. :)

The books are always well researched, well written, and are packed with useful information. They take complicated legal and financial subject, and explain them in high school English. I believe that Nolo's Credit Repair is one of the best books I have read on this topic. This book "tells it like it is" in clear, everyday language.There are no quick fixes to repairing poor credit, but there is a process that one can follow to start on the road to recovery. This book outlines the steps in a logical sequence. A resource CD is included with this book, containing letters and templates one can use to start the credit repair process themselves.Highly recommended.

Overall, this is a good read. The foundation for the book is the Author's relationship with her dying sister Maggie. The overall theme is Authenticity. How to be truly authentic and have the courage to bare your soul to the people you love the most. Lesser claims that it is sometimes easier to be open and real with individuals whom we don't share a true connection- intimate strangers rather than our true friends and family. This concept and what to do about it had a profound effect on me. It was worth the cost and I'm really glad I read it. I do have one complaint: Lesser seems overly fond of herself and tends to go on and on about a concept for pages when it could have been summarized in one paragraph. Sometimes too much explanation can cause attention to wander and main points to be lost. Keep it simple!

there's a very compelling story here focusing on the author and her critically ill sister, maggie, who requires a bone marrow transplant. the author turns out to be a perfect match and this story, along with their evolving relationship, form the core of this book.when the book was focused on the two sisters, i was completely engaged in the story. however, the author frequently veers off the road and spends a lot of time on self-help and mystical detours, all in flowery language i found a bit too precious. while i'm sure a lot of people probably appreciated these inserts, i found them somewhat cloying and distracting.ironically, i felt the most vivid writing was done by maggie herself, via entries she made in either a journal or diary. i thought it was an excellent idea by the author to include these excerpts strategically throughout the book.in summary, a good book overall, but it could have been even better with some editing in certain areas that were not directly related to the main storyline.

I highly recommend this book to all!

I love Elizabeth Lesser’s writing. I feel like when she writes, the thoughts in my head are being put on paper. Very deep and moving account of her and her sister’s journey together. Much more than a story about a bone marrow transplant. Its a soul journey. And there were so many gems in the writing, that I know I will be rereading this one again. If you are ready to dive into what you are really made of, this is the book for you. I absolutely loved it.

This book touched me so deeply!! Elizabeth Lesser is a prolific writer and I always enjoy reading her books. I am a pediatric palliative care nurse practitioner and loved this book so much because it shows the truth of what a patient and his or her family members experience. It's truly a BRUTIFUL (brutal and beautiful) experience---heart wrenching and heartwarming all at once. I really can't adequately articulate how much I loved this book!! I cried at the end of the book---and I just don't really do that much anymore. Thanks for touching me to my core, Elizabeth.P.S. I heard Elizabeth tell part of this story when I attended the Women and Power conference at Omega in September 2013. I was so happy to see that she wrote an entire book about the experience.

Yes, it was a heartbreaking story. She truly loves her sister and she gives the ultimate, a part of her body. But she writes' 'right down to the marrow' so often the reference lost its significance and was even irritating. Her writing is deep and academic. I prefer more personal and less psychological. My favorite sections of the book were the journal entries of her sister. And I felt it was about 50 pages too long.

This is such a good book, I'm a self help gal and really appreciate good writing. This is both. Elizabeth Lesser is sharing a very personal experience in a way that illuminates the real stuff in life and gives us all an opportunity to learn and grow. I know I will read this book a few more times to soak up the wisdom.

Paul Colliers’ title is a poor rendering of the book it covers, it bespeaks a dusty edifice and this is a bedazzling erection of possible solutions to the troubles of modern times. Backing up to Colliers’ favorite time ‘the social democratic era from 1945 to 1970’* there were a collection of ‘wise men’ who slowly hammered out social institutions build upon the social democratic systems of western European countries and the FDR New Deal policies in America to cover the interactions of local governments for their citizens and affairs among nations. The characteristics they shared were reciprocity and generosity. For the citizen some form of support and concern from birth to death, and for nations a willingness to care for the disadvantaged – America’s Marshall Plan being one proud example. Then things changed. The institutions became dictatorial and lost their initial purpose the philosophical under-structure destroyed.Collier list Robert Putnam’s Bowling Alone as a reference but there are many noting where the collective disappeared and individualism became the ruling ideology; in the extreme case governments became agents for corporations and the financial centers and their lobbyists.The results: inequalities arising among the highly educated successful and the bulk of society, wealthy metropolitan centers and failing cities and towns, and the fracturing of such elementary units as the family. Collier is an economist and his presentation flows from utilitarian based price theory but he knows its shortcomings and aims to speak to the general citizen not to the politicians. There is a sociological undertone where he imagines the redeeming characteristic of mankind and views a way to reactivate these and use them to solve existing dystopian natures of capitalism, governments, and individuals.One can take that with a grain of salt and still find exciting ideas for communities to redo their failed states of existence bringing in core conditions for new developing industries, educational systems to turn to the child at kindergarten as the most important developmental age, link businesses and workers using the TVET** methods of Germany and Switzerland, and states recapturing economic rent seekers as major taxing possibilities. His work was particularly noted for focusing on the history of stamp collecting and was of interest to collectors, regardless of whether they were new to the hobby or involved with it for a long period of time. He received the Luff Award in 1961 and was elected to the American Philatelic Society Hall of Fame in 2000. His books included Fancy Cancellations on Nineteenth Century United States Postage Stamps, Forensic Philately, Nassau Street, and Fun and Profit in Stamp Collecting. This book has been brought into print by the author’s son, Kenneth Herst, in memory of his father’s work and legacy.

Highly recommended--a fast, fun read for anyone interested in the quirks of history.Herman Herst, Jr. was one of the twentieth century's top stamp experts, but this collection of his writings should appeal to a far wider audience. Herst uses stamps as a tool to explore history in much the same way historians in recent years have used salt (Salt: A World History), cotton (Empire of Cotton: A Global History), or even potatoes (The Potato: How the Humble Spud Rescued the Western World) as anchors for their histories. Herst's subjects range from the arts (Arthur Conan Doyle, Whistler and his mother) to John Brown's raid and the origins of the YMCA. The tales are short, witty, and often end with a twist.

As a fan of Nassau Street and other things Pat Herst wrote, I was frankly disappointed in this and charitably rated it OK. Take out the rehashed anecdotes from Nassau Street and a couple of stories that are non-philatelic and there's not much left. The book was done by a vanity publisher without competent editing and is rife with errors, major as well as typographical. There are not seventy-seven interesting stories here; apparently the only reason for that number was the alliteration in the sub-title. A good editor probably could have made this into a shorter book that Nassau Street fans would have regarded as worthy of Pat. In its present form, it is not.

Hopefully, someone will continue in a similar fashion and entertain today's and tomorrows collectors with their experiences. The future of stamp collecting is by no means certain. With email and texting, postal machines and technology. Stamp collecting seems nostalgic and antique but there is and should be a place for history and the trappings that get us to the future. And frankly, there is just something timeless in writing and mailing a heartfelt message to someone you love with stamp and envelop. It still means a bit more than flashing electrons through the ether.
