Great book. Clearly written and very useful for both people new to IOS and Swift, as well as those with lots of experience. Highly recommend.

It covers everything in a very simple and easy way. If you are a busy developer looking for how to use iOS 10 controls and swift 3 frameworks, look no further. You've found it. Still I think under $8 price tag for mobile version is an error. This book should have been priced $100 at least.

I have multiple iOS books to learn development, but this book does a great job of taking the reader from the basics of Swift to some advance topics. There are tons of code examples along with the topics covered. It has a textbook feel to it (which I love), but it's not all dry and boring. Overall, I think this is a great resource to have in your iOS library!

Finally an iOS book that is actually understandable. Nice work!

Dr. Malek has published numerous technical articles and authored chapters in books; is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Safety Engineers, Association of Energy Engineers, Association for Facilities Engineers, International Facility Management Association, National Association of Power Engineers, and Society of Operations Engineers, UK; and is a speaker for ASME Code Section I – Power Boilers. As expected

Out dated but it tells you where to look for the regs you need to know. and those are always up to date.

it is very good for designer inspection and Maintenance Technician but It doesn't have calculator method of circulation ratio which I need it.

very well organized and well thought out, I use this reference every time we have a pressure vessel project, excellent charts and references regarding power boilers.

I've had this book for two or three years and refer to it occasionally. I usually find what I want. I have some gripes about the way it is written: it is repetitive, mentioning one thing on one page and then again shortly afterwards; it has some totally pointless illustrations (e.g. of three flash-lights, or a line drawing showing "an operator explains starting a boiler to an AI". Also, the section that I am reading today conflates the activities performed in an internal inspection, with what is done in an external inspection. Nevertheless, it is a useful reference book which needed to be checked and edited before it was published.

This text is an excellent overview of the ASME requirements for boiler design and fabrication. There is detailed information on the welding requirements non destructive test requirements and details on the tests themselves. It is useful for a quick but complete introduction to the detailed and dense field of engineering.

"Power Boiler Design, Inspection, and Repair" is a book that fulfills what it is considered to do. General information about boiler design (don't exceed the ASME Code, could be better) and some inspections tricks.It's a great book. Easy to consult.
